Russ Streiner

Russ Streiner is best known among horror fans for his role as “Johnny” in the 1968 George A. Romero classic, “Night Of The Living Dead.” Russ was also the producer of that film. Russ has become a favorite among convention goers because of his easy-going and approachable style. He is always willing to talk and joke with convention guests along with sharing inside stories about “Night of the Living Dead” and other current movie productions that are taking place in Russ’ hometown of Pittsburgh, PA. For anyone who follows the movie business, Pittsburgh is one of the most popular cities in American in which to make movies. Russ is the founder and chairperson of the very popular Pittsburgh Film Office that has been hosting major movie production in Pittsburgh for more than 22 years. Russ Streiner is also the co-director (along with John A. Russo) of the John Russo Movie Making Program at DuBois Business College in DuBois, PA.
